Where can 17 year olds go on holiday by themselves?

Me and My boyfriend are looking to go on holiday this year. We are both 17 on flying out and flying back, where abroad can we go? People have said you can do it but some hotels wont take you so it best to go into a travel agents shop and get them to show you hotels and places that would take you. I was just wondering if anyone else had gone on holiday abroad and if they could tell me where to start looking and what countries would be a good place to go too? Thanks for your help xx

Hi,

complete Europe should be ok. You can stay in youth hostels. You might be cheaper with a youth hostel association member card. http://www.europeanhostels.com/

You can also go camping. Some camping sites don’t like groups of young people though. Some are all-party and crowded with young folks. If they are reluctant to accept you check-in, assure them you are silent and will not get drunk.
