I am 15 and have my GCSE's in June. By the time their finished I will be 16 and my boyfriend said that he would take me back over to Ireland. Are we old enough and is it a good idea?
Heh, same for me, except the boyfriend part! well, my friends and I want to go on holiday when we're finished in June, not sure where yet. My parents are cool with it, as long as I remain in contact and ring them every other day to let them them know I'm ok.
I think it's fine for you to go, as long as anyone important can contact you, and you them. Just check with hotels or wherever your gonna stay ahead of time, to make sure they will accept your booking, but it should be fine. My cousin did the same when she was 16 and had no problems. She went to Galway and loved it!
I don't think there is any age limit to travel anywhere in the world. As you are traveling with your boyfriend and if it is your first time to make a trip without your family, it's better to go somewhere close to your city. But as a romantic couple you can have a great fun at the seashore. Near the beach, you can easily find vacation rentals which is now quite popular as it offers luxury at your budget.
