When you fit the signs of depression, but you're not depressed?

I fit the symptoms of depression (loss of interest in a lot of things, withdrawal from my family who I used to be very close with, not being able to sleep and always feeling tired, irritated easily, difficulty concentrating, and loss of appetite), but I’m not depressed. I’m actually happy most of the time, so it’s odd that I would be feeling this way.

So am I totally wrong on this or what? Any advice would be helpful. :)

I actually have the same issues. Come to find out when I talked to my doctor he did some blood work and I have a severe vitamin D defficiency. It might be an idea to look into.

Depression can be a physical thing. Even if your’e happy most of the time, you can still have episodes of depression once in a while due to a chemical imbalance in your brain. The various depression medications have been found to correct this imbalance. Unfortunately the pharm. companies haven’t found a side effect free medication for depression. A friend of mine smokes marijuana because he can’t afford the prescriptions and medical bills. He says it works.
