When this happened to my friend should she of told someone?

Well my friend is the same age as me 13 almost. This guy got her cell number and started texting her. He said he was 15. Then we met her and got her into doing sexual things. Turns out after she met him he was 36 years old. When can I do after I promised her I would not tell anyone?

Yea that’s a pedophile…he is a old man preying on younger girls, I don’t see how she can meet someone from the internet when she is 15 and see he is old and NOT tell anyone…he could be stalking her and stuff. I am 21 years old and even I would be repulsed. But he could go to jail for a long time you see this kind of stuff on NBC dateline with Chris Hanssen. It’s real stuff, that needs to be brought to the attention of an adult, what if she doesn’t tell anyone and she goes and meets someone else, but this time they hurt her and kidnap her then you will feel reallly bad, don’t ever think it won’t happen to you because it can happen to anyone. I am not trying to scare you but you should take action asap.

I know it sounds really cliche, but you have to tell someone, your friend is in serious danger and is being completely violated by this man. I know you promised her but in the long run she will definately thank you for this. This will have already ruined her life, mentally and physically and you need to have it stop as soon as possible. You need to get someone with authority involved so they can stop this monster from hurting your friend and other girls in the future. I really hope you do something about this and I feel so sorry for you being in such a difficult situation.
