When stopping Birth Control can I get pregnant?

I was on Birth Control for 3 years, decided I was going to take a break from them and stopped taking them on November 12th, 2009..it’s been exactly 2 months that I haven’t taken them and all throughout December my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. My period for November was regular, December was regular except a week after my period I started spotting for about 6 days. I just stopped.. I know that everyone’s body is different but although my periods are prob going to be irregular etc can I get pregnant or be pregnant now?

Answer #1

Considering just missing 1 pill increases your chances of getting pregnant, You can get pregnant the day after you stop taking your birth control. Within just a week your chances are even greater. Its been a few months now and you could def. get pregnant.

Answer #2

you might be pregnant, or be able to get pregnant anyway. im not sure how long birth control protects you after you stop taking it, but I think it takes a while to get the normal rhythm going again.

Answer #3

Yeah. It is very likely. Take a test.
