When should my boyfriend and I start getting sexually active ?

Okay, so my boyfriend and I have been going out since the 14th of march and he is my first boyfriend so I’m not sure when to start doing things with him :S can you guys please help me and give some advice were both in grade 10 and a little nervous so help/ advice would be greatly appreciated, thanx:)

Im in the same boat as you. I just got together with my boyfriend on January 2nd. (Its a bit of a way away but close enough) I said to him last week. That we would have sex when I was ready and felt comfortable with myself. Currently I am 28 pounds overweight and I have braces. Im 17. I said to him, when I drop the weight and lose the braces I will feel more more confident and I wont be having sex for the first time worrying, does this angle make me look fat? Do my teeth look funny? Is my tummy hanging out? This would take me up to at least august before im ready. He loves me so he says he understands and is willing to wait for me. If your boyfriend tries to dump you because you wont then dump him because he is only caring about his needs and not yours and you deserve better. You are both ready to have sex when you both feel confident about yourselfs, you are certain you both love each other and you are mature enough to focus on all the risks and use birth control. when your both 100% ready and comfortable and you both consent and want to do the sexual things also remember to LEARN about sex before you go off having it or start getting sexually active learn about as well as a male and female reproductive system birth control, contraception, pregnancy and sti/stds don’t have sex until you know the consequences involved with it because the main reason why kids and teens get pregnant and get stds is because of a lack of sex education

When both of you are ready. Please remember to use protection always until your ready which should not be the 10th grade. (More in the After college degree thing.) I hope this advise helped! :)
