rcn has 20mbps and comcast has 15mbps
I have never heard of RCN but I do have comcast, it's fairly fast...Though it does have connection problems...With us losing service for a few hours... Comcast is known to have those problems but it may just be the area I live in....The speed is good...But if you HAVE to have a great speed then Comcast may not be right for you but again your area might be different...Hope I Helped in Some Way!
Well, for a good judgement first you have to check the speed they offers you and secondly check out their online reviews which helps you to determine the satisfaction of their present customers. These procedure can be applicable not only for these two companies but also for every company. This procedure will help you to choose perfect internet service provider.
I'm not 100% sure I read on there website 50mbps but I dont know...Though they tend to make you pay insanly high prices for higher speed and that may only be in select area's.....I would go on there website and see and make sure you do your research since companys tend to make you sign 1 year contracts with them...Hope I Helped!
also just because you are paying for 20 mbps dosent mean you are getting it in order to get 20 mbps you would pretty much have to have fiber optics running from the provider to your computer with nothing else in between I pay for 15 mbps but I am lucky if I get 12
on there website they say "UP TO" 20 mbps it's that UP TO that u have to notice because they could charge you alot for that and only give you 5 then when you complain there going to point out that they only promised UP TO 20 they never promised 20
The more mbps the faster the connection (potentially)- because the number of users at a given time can 'overload' the server during peak times.
Yes I got that I was saying that they said they offer 50mbps and like I said they will probably charge you alot for the faster connection....
so whats the highest comcast speed then cause i think theyve change they're rules about mbps maybe
