Whats causing all of these headaches?

I’ve been getting a lot of headaches lately, I think they might be migraines. They get to the point where I cant even look at the light, so I just lay in my room with all of the lights off and it makes me feel a bit better. I’m at the point where I’m having to take Advil everyday, its getting bad. What could be causing these?

when you do get a migrane, try to make yourself laugh, beleive me it feels like your head is going to explode if you do, but it makes you feel much better :)

Answer #3

maybe stress or allergies?

Answer #4

there are so many causes for headaches…stress, alergies, hormones, etc. But if you have been experiencing them daily, I would def go see a doc. Your quality of life sounds like it is being severly affected! a doc can help you get to the bottom of it, prescribe appropriate meds if necessary, and restore your quality of life, as well as give you reassurance that it may not be something more serious. AND, even if they are migraines there are new meds out there that can knock one out! Good luck and I hope you feel better!

Answer #5

It does indeed sound like migraines. Have you changed your diet? If so, that’s probably the culprit. A lot of people get migraines if they skip a meal, especially breakfast.

…and like meganhead said, stress and allergies can also bring them on. If you think it’s stress related, learn relaxation excercises. Also, if you sense a migraine starting to come on, drink some coffee or tea. The caffiene helps to reduce/prevent them.

Answer #6

Sounds to me like migranes. Maybe you need glasses? I used to get heaedaches until I got my glasses.

Answer #7

Are you drinking enough water? Dehydration causes headaches more often than people realize.

Answer #8

PMS?

Answer #9

try wearing sun glasses (from mild to the full on can’t see anything ones).

that will help subside the lights (if none of the above works out)

good luck, Jennifer m. Gilmore-Goad
