Im going to get an industrial piercing on wednesday but im wondering what to expect when im getting it done and the first few days like how much is it gonna hurt, how long should it take to do, will they use a clamp etc so if you have one I'd like to here about your experience also for like the first 24 hours or so cause I this extracurricular thing right afterwards and then I have a black tie galla the next afternoon.
Sorry if I spelled anything wrong I've got one hand bandaged so I keep hitting the wrong keys.
I've got three different industrials. You're probably going to get the most common one which is the first one I ever had. I got it pierced and it got infected so I took it out and got it re-pierced. They don't use a clamp. They just use a needle and a receiving tube.
I'll find a youtube video of someone getting it done and post the link so you can see what I'm talking about.
That type of industrial, for me wasn't very painful. People have different levels of tolerence for pain. So I cant really tell you if it'll be painful for you or not. All lot of movement, especially right after getting it done wont help at all. It probably wont really harm it either, but maybe. As long as you don't bump it or anything you should be fine.
Clean it as the piercer instructs you to. If that way doesnt work then drop me a line and I can list a few other ways of cleaning it. =] Different piercers will tell you different methods.
Good Luck, I'll post that link as soon as I get !
See how in one hand he's got the needle and in the other he's got the receiving tube? Then he leaves the tube in there and uses it to slide the jewelry in?
That's how it all goes down. :)
Enjoy your piercing when and if you get it done. Take care of it. =P
try and focus on somthing else in the room and just breath in when he puts the needle in the first time and then when it goes through again breath out!
