What to do about cheer?

I got my period a few months ago, my cheerleading starts again in the summer (I do competition cheer), I dont want to wear a tampon, but im afraid if my pad leaks when im on the mat, (some competions last up to 8 hours or more sometimes) we cant bring bags with us to hold our belongings either. I dont know what im goona do!!

Omg SAME thing happened to me! ! ! I had to wear a super heavy pad(Because cheer uniforms are skirts so the bulge doesn’t matter) Then Half way I had to go to a port-a-potty and change it! Very inconvienient but better than being embarassd!:)
