What, should I get a sun conure?

Ok I decided I want to get a sun conure. I’m not positive if I’m getting one tho. I have a cat and a dog right now. I don’t think they’ll bother with the bird but I’m not sure. Do you think I should get a sun even tho I has other pets, also where can I get a cheap one like around 300 not 400-600. I know I need to pay for the cage toys food etc.

Getting A sun conure when you have other pets is just fine,I have a dog and a cat and 2 sun conure’s in my house and they all get along great. As far as finding one a little cheaper you should maybe look in the pet classifies in the news paper (thats where I found both of mine) or maybe go look at the flea market if you have one near where you live (sometimes people sell birds there). And the cages and toys are not going to be cheap. Just know they can be very messy and loud and some are aggressive. They are not a cheap pet to have. It cost’s more to take them to the vet than it does for dogs and cats.they need to spend at lest an hour outside their cage everyday. you have to put in a lot of money for these birds. I spend about 175$ a month on them.and thats just for food and toys(they get bored of toys fast so you have to keep changing them). Other than that their great pets to have.
