First of in a perfect world you should have gone to the police straight away. they would have taken swaps and tests which would ensure he had the most evidence against him. Although I know there are many reasons why people do not do this straight away so I am not critisizing you for this.

Now, you still need to tell someone it is not too late. Even if it was 3 years ago you can speak to a councillor or someone else about it. They can see about whether you want to make charges or get restraining orders if the are apllicable to you.
