Easier to learn to play piano or guitar?

I’m going to say guitar is harder. The reason I say that, is because of the nuances required to attain the sounds people expect out of a guitar. On a piano, your control methods for a given note are how hard you hit the key, how long you hold it down, and peddle control for overall tone. It doesn’t matter where you strike the key either, as long as you strike the right one.

On a guitar, to get a single note correctly, requires the right action from both hands. Not only that, but the left hand finger (for right handed players) has to be positioned just right on the fret both vertically and horizontally. Much greater finger strength if also required, and you have only 4 fingers on your left hand to accomplish what you can do with 5 on a piano. Further, there are actually 5 different ways you need to know how to get a note on a guitar to master it; regular picking, finger picking, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and tapping. You also have to know how to bend, how to attain pinch harmonics, palm muting, and a dozen other techniques.
