What qualities do you look for in a boyfriend or girlfriend?

Personally in a boy looks wouldn’t matter to me, personality would always come first, he would have to make me laugh and have some of the same interests as me and he shouldn’t be too clingy and should understand if I would prefer to hang around with a friend that with him some days.

some people only go out with people because of looks but I don’t think it really matters that much, what qualities would you look for?

no matter what you hear here, all guys look at looks first (any guy that says otherwise is either gay or lining). I will openly admit that all guys are pigs when it comes to dating.

now that thats out of the way, here’s the order: 1.) personality (can I picture myself hanging out with her and just relaxing) 2.) intelligence (it doesn’t matter how good she looks if you can’t stand talking to her) 3.) interests (they don’t need to be mine, but they can’t be mostly things I hate) 4.) friends (if I like them and they like me) 5.)past relationships (if shes cheated more then 2 times then I won’t go out with her)

I feel I should mention that even though these are usually the things I look at, its not the same in all guys. some never go beyond looks, and some don’t care about some of the things I’ve mentioned.

in a guy it doesnt matter if he’s got muscles or if we are complete opposites as long as he is kind and thoughtful to me and hes taller than me which isnt hard since im like 5”5 lol also I dont even mind a guy with spots most teenagers have them except me im lucky lol I havnt had one as long as the spots aint round his mouth XD

personality, confidence, being able to stand up for himself, his caring self for the ones he loves (but that’s not all!) :D (I agree with you totally in that in guys looks don’t really matter, but somtimes it’s good to have a cute boyfriend, huh? lolz :D)
