What kind of job would this be?

Okay..I’m not really sure yet, but id love to go to college for a job that studies things in space like black holes, theories of space, dark matter, supernovas, things like that…What kind of job would this be called? What would I go to college for to do this? Space is just so fascinating to me..itd be one of my top choices. So can anyoen tell me what thsi would be called?

Also astrophysicist. Now days the two are basically the same. It used to be that astronomers dealt with observations and descriptions, while astrophysicists dealt with the mechanics of how it all happens. To me this is a TOTALLY fascinating field of study.
