Do you have a favorite buffet restaurant? My boyfriend loves them...me, not so much. The reason? I had gastric bypass on March 31, 2009. Right now, I can eat about 4 to 6 ounces of food at a time (a little more than the palm of my hand). So, buffets aren't really worth the price for me, for the small amount of food I consume.
However, my surgeon just sent me a little laminated card, explaining the situation and requesting that buffets let me order from the kids menu!
This has opened up a whole new door (no pun intended) of dining for me! We've so far hit up Golden Corral and tonight we're going to "China Buffet", which has Chinese, Hibatchi and sushi!
So what is your favorite place to eat buffet?
I’m not exactly in the USA, but I love Sizzlers here, its affordable and their smorgasbord buffet is awesome, lots of green, lefty dishes and their deserts and ice creams are to die for.
Only down side to these restaurants is, if you are a seafood and meat lover, they don’t have that on their buffet but you have to order them as a main which cost a bit extra.
There's a place called Royal Buffet near where I live. And it's filled with various chinese, mongolian, japanese, and american dishes. And they are just amazing!
My family goes there everytime to celebrate :)
