I went to walmart and tried finding it but didnt find anything. What is the name of it?

Hi,

Did you just walk around the medicine aisle? You won’t find it there. It’s in the pharmacy.

If you live in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Maine, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts or Washington, you can get Plan B without a prescription at some pharmacies. Many other states require a prescription, so you’d need a doctor to call it into the pharmacy. Call the pharmacy to find out.

Also, if you are under 18, you need a prescription for it no matter where you live.

Add Florida to that list… and its the morning after pill, but you need to go to the pharmacy, its not going to be in the aisles..

The name of the pill is …………………. “Plan B”

And in June of 2009, it was approved by the FDA for sale to anyone 17 or older WITHOUT a prescription. You will have to go to the prescription counter and show proof of age, then it can be bought throughout the US.

You also may be able to obtain it through Planned Parenthood.

If taken immediately after sex, it has a 85% chance of blocking pregnancy. That per centage drops off to 70% as up to 72 hrs pass.
