What is the correct way to brush curly hair without breakage?

Okay, I have super curly hair and it’s really damaged because my hair rips at the ends from brushing it. I know hair is most fragile when wet, but I can’t brush it when it’s dry because it just gets frizzy. So far I’ve been brushing it with a widetooth comb in the shower with conditioner in my hair, but is there any other way? My hair stays short because it keeps breaking off at the ends. Help?

damp it and spray with leave in conditioner, then use wide tooth comb. You can also use a blowdryer brush. damp it and spray with leave in conditioner then comb with wide tooth comb and then use the blow dryer brush. It straightens it while drying and gives a lasting curl. It’s not a bristle brush. Also, you can damp your hair and spray leave in conditioner and then brush edges down into a pony tail (be loose with faster. tie your hair up and then after you are dressed and it is dry go over with dryer and brush. It will dry straight and should stay straight unless humid out. You can try a hair straightner product too. I have extremely curly hair and this is my daily routine. I wake up with an afro every morning.
