What is the brown stuff around my belly button ring?
Okay, I got my belly button pierced about 3 months ago. and its been fine ever since I got it. I have kept it like super clean. lol It hasnt ever became infected or hurt for no reason. But yesterday I lifted my shirt to show my friend my new barbell and there was like this brown gooey stuff on the bottom. Can someone tell me if this is normal, for it to ooze like that? It doesnt hurt at all but im just worried about migration. Thank you. :)
Navel rings very rarely migrate or reject. I’m not sure what it is. It could be dried blood if you bumped it or something like that. Well, not it couldn’t. You said it was gooey? Usually if it’s infected, it will be a really light green colored goo. Then again, it’s different for everyone. I’m really not sure, but continue to clean it as you’ve been doing and it should work itself out. Good Luck, hope it heals alright.
