I have been an Avid Tide user for years and every once in a while I will buy a cheaper brand and hate it. What is the best laundry detergent for the money as well as for the quality?
I moved here from Europe in 87. I tried all detergents on the market and decided Tied was the best, and worth the extra cost. (although not that good as Persil was in Europe.)
Now about a year ago I noticed that my clothes are not as clean as they used to be. It is getting to the point that I have to wash white socks many times to get the same result as before. I added oxi clean... and I don't see the difference.
It is annoying... I wonder if anybody noticed the change. Also, I noticed, that Tide started a new concentrated product. I was wondering if they took away some of the washing power so they can have more income with their new product.
I grew up with Tide , mother always used Tide and NOTHING ELSE ! Now, that I am grown, with family, sometimes financially cant buy Tide, and have totally noticed the difference. Only on hard to get out stains, the kid's shirts especially, (and of course my husband underware ) but for the most part, I have done every laundry detergent out their and if you dont want to wash your clothes again, (the ones with stains) use TIDE/w Bleach,,,the best,,,from Shelly in Las Vegas, Nevada
I use to use tide because most people used it but realized following what most people do is not always the best so I swithed to Arm and Hammer with Oxi Clean it's 100 times better because it removed all stains and gave my clothes a fresh long lasting smell that was not too strong!! Tide is not as good as Arm and hammer!
Arm & Hammer with oxi clean is the best because it leaves a long lasting fresh smell and removes all stains but tide detergent does not remove all stains and has a very strong smell so arm & hammer w/ oxi clean is better!!! Don't follow what most people use follow what works the best!
We tried a generic laundry detergent recently as well, and ended up switching back to Tide due to an allergic reation to the store brand of luandry detergent. Clean is clean - the allergy issue is the one that convinced me to keep spending my money on tide.
personally I LOVE gain, but recently we tried a kroger brand, not sure where you are, but it's dye and fragrance free...and we liked it a lot too...but gain is the best.
Persil is my best one as I never find a stain after washing. Also, it has a very good smell. I am really fond of this brand.
