What is eathernet-I got a xbox 360 and it said I got it free ???

I got a 360 and it cam with free eathernet and I need to know what it is and how to use it?

look in the box for a lead… could be a yellow or blue 1 or sum other color…

its used to connect your 360 to a router and use xbox live

Free ethernet is a way to connect to the internet using a braoadband connection for multiplayer games and such. If you look on the back there is a jack that looks like a phone jack. you connect the ethernet wire there to your cable or dsl router. But the bad part is that is not wireless like a laptop, for that you need to buy a separate wi-fi adapter for your 360.
