What is cheaper and better than proactive??

okay I’m 14 and get pretty bad acne all over my face, so my mom got me some proactive. but it does NOTHING! everyone says it works, but nada. so I get more stressed out and that gives me more acne! I was thinking of getting clean and clear cr*p. but was hoping for some advice. please help!!

Answer #1

I used to use Proactiv too and it sucked. I recommend using this thing called Zitbomb and Zitbar. You can get it at eastpark.com for like less than $10 and it works really well.

Answer #2

for my face I use oxy padss.theyy work.but I really don’t break out that often.so just try different thinqs.

Answer #3

Pro-active doesn’t work for everyone and clean and clear also doesn’t. Go see a dermatologist. They really know what works and will be able to prescribe stronger medication for you.

Answer #4

Hi , take the advivce about going to the doctors , I did ask for a gel called zineryt I starts 2 work a week later , it clears the skin up … its well worth a shot!

hope I helped :) x

Answer #5

Well when you first start the treatments it actually brings out all the underneath pimples first before clearing them up. Try to continue using it if you just started recently with it.

Answer #6

well how long have you been taking the proactive or clean and clear stuff? because they take more than a day/week to work it might be best to see a dermatologist or doctor and ask what they can recomend for your face

Answer #7

I had quite bad spots, I tried loads of different face scrubs, lotions but nothing worked so I went to the doctors and they prescribed me some ‘Duac-Once Daily Gel’ and it worked great. They literally vanished after a few nigh of putting it on before bed. I suggest you go to the doctor instead of suffering and paying a small fortune on ‘treatments’ that don’t work.

Answer #8

if you go to a doctor they can give you a prescription for a weak version of the pill. nt to use as birth control but just hormonal regulation, which is sometimes the cause of acne. I can personally recommend this as I use it. However it still adds up to about $20 a month plus the doctors visit. But it depends whether you want effectiveness over price or not. Hope this helps, good luck.
