I have homework which I don’t understand and I’m supposed to produce a piece of imperial propaganda about why was india the jewel in the crown and I am really confused

Ok well propaganda is about influencing people… it’s could be a lie, it could be an omission, it could be an exaggeration…

so imperial propaganda would be justifying why india was a jewel in the crown (why it would be their prize “possession” ), why they had a right to colonize it, or something that explained how it was good for Britain, etc etc, do you have a specific place she wants you to look in?
