what is a dog that stays tiny even when it's an adult?

I want a puppy, a cute one with preferably fluffy/curly hair. I would like it to grow up to still be the type of dog you can cary with one arm. a very light, tiny one. any suggestions?

maltese, toy poodle, rat terrier, chihuahua, beagle, Pomeranian. maltese’s are adorable.

There are many tiny breeds…each one has a different personality, has different energy levels, etc. This is a good site to read up on different breeds and what you can expect from them.

hm those are a little too big/hyper for me. I want a mellow one, chihuahuas are too fidgety. something like a maltese…?

I have a maltipoo. a mix of a maltese and a poodle. she is 3 months and the SWEETEST puppy I have ever met:)
