What happenes when parents when they kick their 16 yr old out?

A sixteen year old, good kid was just kicked out of his dads home. we called his mom who is his legal guardian. she said she doesn’t want him back, she is moving on with her boyfriend. the child goes to school, gets good grades, basically a good kid What legal steps can be taken against the parents, what rights do the grandparents/ aunts have.

Call CPS and explain the situation,

There the 16 year old can tell hem what he wants and from there on there can start something. Meaby your perents can have him stay whit you while everything gets solve it all depends on what cps decides.

if the child has god parents they automaticy become the legal quardian…

if theres no god parents then no body would become legal guardian straight off…

I dont know of any legal steps to take. sry… but if the aunts and uncles or grandparents are willing to take him on thats the best bet.

That depends on where this kid is from.

Canada and the UK - it’s well within the parents legal right to kick him out. In the US, he has to be 18 and they can’t legally force him from home.

You can call CPS or find someone else that he can live with. If you are in the US then both parents can get arrested.
