What food should she eat

My pup is going to be 3 months can I give her hard food..like kibbles ‘n bits ..does that make her poop hard…

Answer #1

Small dogs notoriously have bad teeth…soft food exaberates that. Feed her a high quality kibble (the hard food). At 3 months she’s fully capable of eating it…if you want, put a little warm water on it, to soften it a little. Whatever you do, DO NOT feed a puppy milk…she’ll get the runs. Kibble will make her stools nice and solid, without being hard.

Kibble’s and Bits isn’t a good food…but there are many other economical kibble foods on the market that are good. Here’s a list of kibbles, and their scores…

Answer #2

Looks like a chihuahua, I would use, Nutro small bites or science Diet small bites, IF you are going to switch foods do it SLOWLY mix in the new stuff with the old stuff until full all new, if you don’t this could cause the belly to upset and may cause loose stool and vomiting

Answer #3

Seeing that she’s a puppy right now, feed her soft foods nothing to solid that she can’t chew or swallow smoothly, when putting her food out,try and make it soft like it’s soggy so it will be easy for her to chew on. Just give her the regular dog food but just do your best to soften it up,baby milk for dogs is best for now.
