Why am I suddenly bleeding during sex?

One of the most common issues that cause this bleeding, is having an ovarian cyst. I know it sounds very bad, but read on and you’ll see it’s not that bad.

When you ovulate, sometimes the eggs might not be released, and a small cyst forms on your ovary. These cysts can disappear in time, or become larger in quantity or size. Luckily, the birth control pills are a very good method of treating this problem. If your partner has a bigger penis than your other partners, his size might have triggered your cyst to break and this is what causes the bleeding.

Another problem might be an infection that needs to be treated.

If you’re sure that your bleeding isn’t caused because you start intercourse too soon (i.e. before your vagina is lubricated), then I would strongly suggest seeing a gynecologist. If you do indeed have a cyst or cysts, this problem can be solved easily with birth control pills. The sooner you take care of this problem, the smaller your risks are.

I have made this mistake in the past and ended up having surgery.
