What does your video card does not support Shader Model 2 ?

Downloaded the Sims 3 Game to my PC, now a message is coming up Device O cannot run this title. Your video card does not appear to support Shader Model 2

I’ve said it 100 times that you must look on the back of the box before you buy PC games to check teh minimum requirments to see if your system will run the game… or in your case onlice specs ;)

do you know if your PC is PCI, AGP or PCI-Express for a graphics card?

if its a oem dell or summet tell me the make and model number and ill tell you :)

run windows update and see it it finds a update to your onboard GPU… it might run the game if it does :S

you will need at minimun a geforce 5XXX or a ATI X1300 series
