What Does The Mailbox Flag Do?

I Have To Mail A Letter… Is There Anything I Should Do With The Mailbox Flag… Does It Go Up Or Down. Please Help…

When you put the flag UP, it’s letting the mailman know that whatever’s in the mailbox is meant for him to take. If you don’t put the flag up, he might think it’s just mail from yesterday you never got out of the mailbox. Put the flag up, put your mail in there, and he’ll take the mail and put the flag back down. :)

lol okay. you put the flag up when you want the mailman to take your mail and mail it off for you. Instead of taking you letter to the post office or whatever you can put it and your mailbox and put the flag up and the mailman will send it off for you basically.
