What does Memorial day mean to you?

Well, for me it means remembering family and friends that have passed. Every year since I was little my father and I have always driven up to the family cemetery where my great grandmother, great grandfather, and grandfather are buried. Also, a childhood friend of my father’s is buried there as well. We’ve always gotten flowers from the same little flower shop in that town. My great grandmother’s name was Lilian so we always get a lily to put on hers. =] We usually also visit my unc who lives in that town. We don’t go up there that often to see him, so memorial day for me, is not only visiting the graves of family and friends who have passed, but also visiting the houses of family and friends I don’t get to see that often.

It means nothing to me, sorry. :/
