Does subjugating yourself to day dreaming mean you're disconnected from reality?
If you day dream a lot, does it mean that you’re escaping from reality and just basically parading in your own world? If so, is that natural in anyway at all?
Good question. I believe lots of people live in their own heads… but some are writing novels, thinking about the next painting they might do, composing the next song. And who knows? They may be tuning the rest of us out once the creative process has started, or they may just be thinking about several things at once.
I guess in some ways you can be disconnected since day dreaming can be a sort of distraction from reality. I day dream a lot too and Iike it, I spend ages making up stories or thinking about different scenarios. Think about it day dreaming can lead to great things…you might have an idea for an invention or a story it make you a creative person! A lot of people day dream, tell me one person who doesn’t.
