What - Do you think I will even get this and how to remember her?

My great grandmother died on the day of my first birthday (my parents don’t know I know), I was looking in my mum’s room for something when I saw a box, I opened it and inside the box it said ‘Julie, This was your great grandmother’s ring and brooch, I thought you should have it to mark memory, I know she would of loved you’ and it said her name and the years she was alive. It’s been twelve nearly thirteen years since I was one, and my mum still hasn’t shown me this, do you think she ever will? and also what is a good way to remember her?

Hi.

You don’t say how old you are, so it’s possible that your mom are waiting for you to get a bit older. (Maybe to the age that you dont sneak a look at your mothers stuff)?

I honestly think that your mom will give it to you! I don’t have any other advice, than that I think you should be patient. Patience is important.

You write this: “It’s been twelve nearly thirteen years since I was one”,,,
Do you mean that it’s 13 years since you was born? (I’m sorry, but I’m not from a English speaking country) :-)

You can mail me if you feel like it, but I really think you should ba patient.

that has happened to me 2. I just said mum can you get me some nice jewelry for my Birthday/cristmas or what ever country you live in some special celebration. she gave it 2 me in the end, after years of nagging

Answer #3

No, maybe its personal to her. Some people don’t want to show special things like that to other people. Maybe she will when you are older, maybe she won’t. She doesn’t even know that you know. Maybe just have a chat with her about it.
