What do you think about contact lenses?

try one-day contacts. These are cheap, you don’t need to clean them and you throw them away in the evening. If these work for you and you like them better than glasses, get 3 pairs of month-lenses. They’re more expensive, you’ll need lense-cleaning-stuff, a box where you keep them at night and you need to learn how to keep them sterile. If you are fine after three months with throw-away contacts, go to a specialist and get permanent ones.

The one-day and the one-month lenses are available on the interwebs for almost all people who got “simple” defects of vision. (straight +3 to -8 dioptrines.) Google for a web-shop. If you have a sth. more complicated, or a stronger defect, you’ll better see an optometrist before you try. Please note that you glasses’ dioptrine-number need not be equal to the lenses’ dioptrine-number. Best is to go and see the optometrist in any case. They can tell you exactly what you need.
