What do you do when you're sad?

What do you do when you’re sad or just feeling down? Do you mope and suck or try to cheer yourself up?

Well, first of all, I’m already feeling down and sad as it is. I can’t seem to cheer myself up like I usually can or anything. I don’t know what’s wrong with me that’s causing me to feel this way. Usually whenever I’m feeling down I either put on some upbeat music, or read a really good book. Sometimes I like to listen to upbeat movies as well to kind of get my mind off of things. Then, the main thing I do, is talk to someone since I’m a person that does allot of venting. In fact, I’ll be going to church and, I’ll need to talk to my leader. I’m so down right now that I’m feeling like my emotions are about ready to burst. I just don’t know. If I could only take my own advice sometimes.

When I fell sad, depressesed, ect, I usually go for a ,long asss walk, go in my happy world, or listen to my music.

when I’m sad, I don’t know if it’s called venting, but it helps. sometimes nobody wants to hear about it though. less drama for them, more sadness for me, but they don’t care. that’s the problem, drama is hate. hate is bad. and I guess we all have to deal with it. life sucks sometime, but theres always a way to bounce back from tragedy, otherwise we’d all be extinct. I love life, but sometimes, to be honest, it just doesn’t love me back.

When I feel sad I normally go to my bedroom and curl up in a ball and just think for about 15 min. Then I get my ipod and go for a run. I helps my nerves and makes me stop thinking about what is on my mind.

Well, try to cheer up your self..Go out or something, run, play games, sleep, anything that wont make you think for the sad thing… Good luck and dont be sad!! :D

It depends on what type of sadness you’re referring to. I’m quite a moody person (plus I’m a very young person lol), and I experience many different forms of sadness over time. Examples: disillusionment with society, alienation, general depression, melancholy, etc. Yet there are some days where I bounce back to feelings of energy and euphoria almost immediately (it drives me up a wall sometimes!!!). But how I deal with my many moods depends on the circumstances surrounding them.

Most people would say music or walk, as do I… but if it’s really bad.. talk to someone you really have a good time with. You don’t even have to talk about how your sad, just someone who is funny and makes you laugh… it helps with most situations..
