How come after I stretch and I'm all stretched out the next day my muscles are all tight?
Example: Yesterday I stretched my legs (hamstrings) for a while and they were all loose and I could touch my nose to both of my knees. But today when I stretched the same way I can barely touch my right knee with my nose and can't at all with my left knee??
Isn't stretching supposed to improve how far you go down??
Why is it doing this?
It is supposed to improve how far you can stretch, however it takes time, you're not going to improve in one day. It took me constant stretching of about two weeks before I could even reach my toes and now I can't because I stopped for a while.
Its because your muscles were being worked hard and after they rest up for a while they arent stertched out anymore(: So thats why they are tight.
It happens to everyone after they stretch or workout, by tomorrow you should be fine:)
