What do I do when my bestfriend was raped and wont talk?

I need help on how to deal with my bestfriend’s problem since she refuses to deal with it herself.

try to get her to see help or talk bout it but use baby steps go slow

You cant? It’s not your problem so you cant fix it. You cant force her to talk. You can encourage her to get professional help, you can tell her you are there for her, but you cannot fix this.

It would help me a little if I knew how old your friend is? But, in our family, we had 3 kids, me(theboy) and my 2 sisters. My oldestst sister was raped while she was sophomore in college. She also had a bullet put in the back of her head. Her friend was with her and was also raped, this was an absolute brutal crime. Long story short, And 14 neurosurgeries of her brain later, my wonderful sis, married, a doctor at that had childeren, and lives a somewhat normal life. Now, the importent thing to remember w/ yor friend, is to get her to talk about this, ASAP, its good mental therapy to go ahead & get this stuff out and get some feedback and loving support from people. Number 1 though, be patient w/ her, just encourage her to talk gradually.
