What do I do right after a random asthma attack?
k so I just had a random asthma attack and I just ran downstairs and got my inhaler then I had to take a pill and now im dizzy?? is this normal? does the inhaler make you dizzy I only took two puffs which it says you should do???
The inhaler can make you dizzy. It’s made me dizzy before, it is because most inhalers contain sabutamol which increases your heart rate and can cause you to feel dizzy for a while.
If the dizziness doesn’t get better in a few minutes, tell your mother or an adult and rather go and get a doctor’s opinion.
What pill? You havent given us all the information, we dont know your history or what you’re taking, and we’re not doctors. I’ve never felt dizzy after using the inhaler, but if I’ve had a really bad attack then that can cause dizziness (you’re brain is temporarily deprived of oxygen after all). But usually I’m in no condition to be walking let alone running any where if my attack is bad enough to cause dizziness. You should probably call your mother or whomever you live with just to make sure you are okay. If you’re having trouble breathing and cant get ahold of anyone, call then emergency number.
