If you don’t Want to eat meat Just Eat Tofu It Gives the same Amount Of Proteins as Meat.

Answer #2

and I’m sorry I am just very adamant about correct info… so I feel the need to correct minor details of rosealyn’s comment… She is correct we are natural born herbivores, our teeth are mottled not carnivorous, and our body can not digest raw meat such as carnivores (like a lion) are able to. BUT, studies show that in the caveman days, our appendix was once used to digest “raw” meat. That is why that debate is controversial. Unless you know the other person does not know this tid bit, don’t fuel that fire cause it will wind up making you look dumb.

and there’s no time like the present to become a vegetarian. Don’t let others talk you out of it, it is your decision and your body!

Well, she technically can not force you to eat meat… My mom had a hard time adjusting to me becoming vegetarian as well, mostly because she wasn’t informed of the “negatives” of eating meat or even that you can supplement the vitamins with other non-meat foods… try to bring up a serious conversations with her, limit the amount of arguing because when people argue they don’t listen… try showing her some “in writing” facts, such as the web page I formerly gave you about the vitamins.. as well as this website… http://www.goveg.com/

Also, you could suggest going to your doctor’s and speaking to him about it, with the 3 of you so you could both learn more.

Your mom is going to go through a stage where she believes it’s just going to be a “phase” and that you’ll grow out of it after a month or two… and that may be the case, however, your belief is your belief and no one has control over that but yourself. Good Luck!

if you dont want to eat meat thats your choice but yes, meat offers protein without that you will become very, very unhealthy and weak and because of your age, if you dont get enough protein your development can also suffer so if you dont want to eat meat, make sure you ger enough protein by eating other foods rich in it and/or getting suppliments

Answer #5

Protein is not the only thing meat has. There are vitamins and minerals also. BUT if you do your research and tell your mom you know how to combine rice and beans and corn and other things like tofu to make complete proteins, then she might be easier to convince. Show her you’ve done the research on how to get good nutrition without eating meat. If that doesn’t convince her, then ask if she’s willing to kill a chicken or a cow and cut it up. No, no, I’m just making that up. But if she’s not open to reasonable discussion, then you’ll just have to make do as best you can and eat as little meat as possible until you can get out on your own. Good luck.

Answer #6

actually as humans we are not made to digest meat and are teeth arnt made to bite meat eaither. as humans we are proven to live without meat and still to its fullest. Even in the beggining of time, our whole digestive system wasnt meant to have meat in it. But we still eat it and thats still fine but we are made to not eat it. I was told that by a guy who is one of the smartest person you will meet in a life time. so you will be fine being a vegitatrian. just eat nuts and drink milk.
