What could happen after my F in Algebra?

I got an F on my report card, in algebra.. Can they hold me back for that?! I’m in 8th grade and I’m taking a freshman math class..

algebra 1 and 2 ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT maths you will ever take. I swear to it. this comes from experience(past) and also my uncle told me this(he is a math teacher)

no you wont get held back…well not at my school. im in 8th grade to :) but I would try to do better in math so that next year they WONT fail u…good luck!!!

You should be fine, but definitely try harder next time because grades are very important in high school. ;)

Shamed to say, I did terrible in sixth grade and received very many F’s. I was bound to fail, but I didn’t. So try to be more careful, but you should be safe.

I failed math in 7th grade and so itook some math for the not so smart kids in 8th grade, then I was just always in the lowest math throughout highschool, they wont hold you back you just will probably be in the same kind of situation I was in. Which actually was helpful because I think those teachers try to help you understand the stuff a little better. But I was also with all the delinquent kids too haha so that kept things interesting.
