What color makeup should I wear?

Hi, I am an Indian and have slightly dark (not very dark) sink tone. I am planning to wear a dark pink (almost megenta) sweater (for a party). What color make up should I wear with it? Thanks for your suggestions. - this is for my firned not me

Ooh thats a pretty color for a sweater. Well since it’s for a party, I would do a simple maybe light silver look with a black eyeliner. Who ever said you have to wear the same color make up as your clothes was very wrong.

it doesnt make as much difference with what your wearing as much as what color of skin and eyes you have… since you said you have dark skin im guessing that you have brown eyes… so maybe gold warm tones on your eyes with lots of mascara and add an of white shimmer to the inner corners of your eyes, your brow line and you could use the same shimmer or a highlighter on your cheek bones… dont go overboard with it though lol… hope that helps :)

Some natural colours, perhaps?? Or some dark blue or gold eye shadow. A bit of eyeliner too. Idunno, be creative.

I think your friend should go for a bronzey-gold color. Tell her to add some eyeliner & mascara, and she’ll be good to go! She can also curl her eyelashes before applying the mascara to make her eyes pop even more. So, something like this: http://funadvice.com/r/16607qvs53e. It’s simple, yet pretty. :)
