What can I do about my dry skin because of acne?

I get dry patchs on my face because I pick at my acne what can I do to get it to go away soon it’s been there for weeks and when I but makeup on it sicks to the dry places and everyone can see it I look stupid and I can’t take it anymore.

the hot water/ cold water method does work pretty good also, scrub your face in the morning when you wake up, let it air dry (pat it dry with a towel dont rub) this will keep moisture in your skin. When your face is completely dry, apply some lotion that is safe for the face. When the lotion is dry, apply your make up. This takes care of the make up issue Now, when you get home, wash the make up off asap, and apply lotion afterwards and be at home without make up. Then before you go to bed, wash again. sometimes tanning helps with acne! and sometimneif you wash your face with really hot water… but not to hott! an some soap! 3 times a day… after you wash your face with warm water and soap your poors will be open!! afterto snap them closed… throw really ice cold water on your face so that nothing dirty will get into your poors… because acne is infetion in your skin!! facts are facts!! I dont get acne.. but I know a lot of people who do and have used this methad and it really works!
