Any of those will help you land a job. Some employers (us for example, Wordpress is another) that have their entire team working from home with no central office. About seven years ago, I had a job working from home, very similar to office jobs I'd had before.
HOWEVER, for some people I've spoken with, they equate work form home with being able to pretend, good off and still get a check every few weeks. No so. You need real job skills, real business acumen and the ability to add real value to the company.
A good way to look at it: if you CAN land an office job for good pay and be productive working on solo projects, or part of a distributed team in a large company, you could work from home in a similar fashion. However, if you can't successfully land an office job, you wouldn't be able to get that job, working from home. At least, nothing that paid a living wage...
