Does anyone work in an Estate Agency?

Just wondering what skills and what qualifications do you need to be employed in an Eastate Agency as a negotiator or something like that…(whatever you call it!) How did you find your job? - newspapers, internet, through a friend… etc.etc. Was it hard to get that possision? Do you I think I should do some voluntary work to get an experience before I actually look for a job?

Hi,

Can you clarify what an Estate Agency is? Is it like a realtor?

If so, in America there are exams and stringent rules to follow to be a realtor, but I believe in other Western countries, like England, there aren’t any official organizations you must apply to.

I think doing internship work or volunteering in a field you are interested in is a great idea. It lets you “test out the water” to see if you really like a job, before you commit to it.
