Okay, my mother suffers from schizophrenia, and I'm not too sure about my father. My mothers was drug induced, that's what my adoptive mother tells me, she doesn't know for sure. Is it likely that I'll catch it, if it was drug induced, it wasn't part of our family as far as I know. I know I have at least a 1 in 10, or 1 in 2 chance of getting it. (Because I'm unsure about my father.)
You cannot catch it, nor can you drug induce it... I would look at the research to see the probability but there are so many factors involved... I wouldnt worry about it, it is so complicated, until you may have to deal with it I wouldnt worry about it and there are drugs to reduce its effects... deal with it if you have to, otherwise I really wouldnt worry about it
