What age is right to get things pierced?

My mom said that I am too young to get any thing else peirced. I already have my ears doubled. So whats the harm in one more?

Maybe I’m a little old fashioned, but I don’t think anyone should pierce anything besides their ear lobes until they are 18. While monroes, and snakebites, angel bites etc. are all the rage right now, when you’re older and realize you don’t want them anymore you’ll always have a mark or little scar where the piercing was. A piercing is barely less of a life long commitment than a tattoo and when you get one, you should know what you’re getting in to and want it for the right reason. Not just because all your friends are doing it or you want to be popular in high school.

I say 15. I got a 2 tats and my septum and my lip pierced at 16.

You can have your ears pierced from the age of 1, or maybes younger, depends where you go. If you wanted the cartilage doing (top of the ear) you might have to wait a little bit longer, maybes the age of 13-14.

Bellybuttons, Noses, Lip you can usually get pierced at about the age of 16.

Tongue piercings can be very dangerous as there is a main vein in our tongue, and if that is pierced through, it could possibly result in death. I’m not sure of how old you have to be to have your tongue done.

Hope this helps! -Chloe
