You can but bear in mind you will need to do some walking so make sure the wedges are comfortable.

Hmmm, one can wear white shoes to a funeral. Nowadays, there is really no “fashion” requirement to what ones needs to wear. It is all about common sense, that is, one wouldn’t dress like they are going to a nightclub or heading off to work on a street corner later on.

Wedges are essentially a mix between sandals and high heels. There is no funeral etiquette stating that you have to wear hum-drum footwear … as a matter of fact, more and more people are upgrading their funeral attire to a lovely array of colours and fashionable shoes, as bringing colour to a sad place helps to uplift people’s spirits … it’s not an insult to the dead to wear pink, nor is it unheard of to wear wedges.
