Viewing vs. Funeral attire
Today is my grandfather’s viewing and tomorrow is his funeral. I know during the funeral, the family wears mostly black, but what does the family wear during a viewing? Is it less casual or the same as a funeral?
usually when you go to funerals and viewings, you dont really want to be casual, dressy is good. and black clothes or a dress.
It’s usually the same, also black or grey.
Just remember that it’s never compulsory for you to wear black. Some people feel that black is too depressing and that they’ll rather celebrate the fact that the person had a good life by wearing something brighter.
