June 11th 2009 3 puppies were born to our female, the runt of the liter is moving aroune on all 4s very well, her other 2 sisters that have a few more ozs on them are not able to stand with there back legs yet. they move around like seals, should I be concerned or they are carrying more weight and need some time to get stronger.
take the puppies to your vet. They may be suffering from mal nutrition of some sort, not getting enough calcium or something for there bones to grow properly, or thye could just be slow at learning to walk...(which I doubt) please take them to your vet immediat;yey so the puppies can get the professional help they need. ~Carrie~
do they seem painful when you touch there legs, what kind of breed are they? They are almost 4 weeks old and I would say should be using there back legs more then just dragging them around
my dog had seven puppies. they all kind of just army crawled around for the first couple of weeks.. I would nt be worried
