Buy mosquito netting for around your bed, it looks like a canopy and is actually quite cute :)You can also keep your body well covered, i've heard mosquitos are more attracted to dark clothing so i recomend wearing light colors. Mosquitos also hate Citronella,Lavender, Basil,Catnip,Pennyroyal, Tansy, Marigolds so depending on where your trying to avoid them you can place these plants arount the yard or patio and it shall repel them :)
Cover yourself (long pants, long sleeves), the fan is a good way (as long as it is pointed towards you), there's stuff you can plug in or burn to keep away mosquitos.
