Water myths and facts

Is water as good as it says it is? good for skin, hair etc ?

Answer #1

Dear grasshopper, Yes, but like everything it is only good in moderation. The mistake people make is drinking more then they should. This will do the opposite of what you want. Water in excess will strip the body of vital vitamins and minerals causing just what you don’t want. So drinking 8 glasses of water…this is water from other things such as foods, teas, coffee, juices etc. must be included in the water count. Sue…good luck

Answer #2

Water when it’s free of contaminants can improve your energy, increase your mental and physical performance, remove toxins and waste products from your body, keep skin healthy and glowing, reduce headaches and dizziness, allow for proper digestion, and help to keep you more alkaline.

Furthermore, almost two thirds of our body weight is “water weight”; blood is 83% water, muscles are 75% water, the brain is 74% water, and bone is 22% water, so it’s unlikely to be detrimental to our health if taken in moderation.

Answer #3
